Warning About CATS:
Our pet soap is very gently scented with essential oils and has been used successfully on dogs, cats, horses and even goats. But there is a lot of research stating that essential oils should NOT be used on cats. Cats have very thin, delicate skin. This means that essential oils can be absorbed more rapidly into their skin and enter the bloodstream. Cats also lack the ability to metabolize certain essential oils the way that dogs or humans can. Their livers do not have the necessary enzymes to break down and excrete certain chemical compounds in essential oils. The chemical compounds can accumulate in a cat's body and build up to toxic levels. That said I have used the soap and the spray on my cat, as have others but very seldom (2–3 times a year) and very lightly (one squeeze of the spray is plenty to rid of fleas) since we feel it is still better than the alternatives.

We test all of our products on ourselves, family members, and friends who are happy to volunteer. Although our products are made with all natural ingredients, some people are allergic to natural ingredients such as certain plants, nuts, and oils. An ingredient that is very mild and soothing for one person can be an allergen for another! There is no soap or cosmetic product in this world that is truly “allergy-free.”
Allergy Patch Test
Apply a small amount of item you are testing on the upper part of your inner arm (at the crook of the elbow) and cover it with a bandage. Choose a time of day where you can leave the patch test in place for least 24 hours without getting it wet. If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, a reaction such as reddening, burning, itching, or other irritation, should occur within twenty-four hours of application. If you don't see or feel any reaction, the preparation is probably safe to use.
